Knitting Circle with Artist Gil Yefman

A participatory knitting workshop inspired by the installation “strange wreath” by the artist Gil Yefman, presented as part of the annual exhibition “The City’s Surface” at the Tel Aviv–Jaffa City Museum.

The City Museum invites you to take part in a live artistic act to enter a space of connection, memory, and shared creation. Through the repetitive, soothing motion of knitting, we collectively weave a human fabric in which threads become thoughts, and individual handiwork becomes part of a larger collective work.

Inspired by Yefman’s practice, the workshop offers a moment of softness within the city, a space to create, to pause, and to become part of a “compassion task force.”
